Guests wishing to enjoy a delicious meal at one of Disneyland’s most popular and exclusive restaurants can now plan their dining experience in advance, as reservations for Blue Bayou Restaurant are now available.

The reopening of this fan-favorite spot has been a rollercoaster ride for guests, with an alleged soft opening that never happened and a surprise reopening nearly twenty days ahead of schedule. However, the restaurant exclusively accepted walk-in tours through the Disneyland mobile app or by asking for assistance at the restaurant’s podium, making it unclear if patrons would be able to enjoy this Louisiana-inspired experience. during their visit.

Guests can now book a reservation to experience this Louisiana-inspired culinary adventure through the Disneyland website. Availability may vary and due to the popularity of Blue Bayou we strongly advise guests to book in advance.

We recently reported that customers were disappointed to find that although the restaurant had reopened after a brief refurbishment, they were left with a rather “missing” view. However, the walls blocking the view of the water and the Pirates of the Caribbean loading area were recently demolished, allowing guests to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beloved attraction as its reopening date draws closer. .

The restaurant is also resuming its offer for the Fantasmic! Meal package, with prices of $89 per guest 10 and older and $35 per guest 3-9, starting at 11 a.m. for dinner packages and 4 p.m. for dinner packages.

Although she belongs to the OBC category, she was not allowed to apply under the OBC quota because she is transgender and was invited to apply under the open category.

Mumbai The Bombay High Court (HC) has called on the state government to respond to a petition seeking reservations for the transgender community from the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MAHATRANSCO), which posted an advertisement on May 4 for fill 170 engineering assistant positions.

The divisional bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice Amjad Sayed was hearing a motion filed by Vinayak Kashid, 30, who is transgender. HQ was informed that after MAHATRANSCO issued the recruitment notice, Vinayak applied for the position.

However, although there is vertical reservation for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) and horizontal reservation for the weaker sections of society, it does not found no reservations for trans people. Although she belongs to the OBC category, she was not allowed to apply under the OBC quota because she is transgender and was invited to apply under the open category.

The petition states that she attempted to contact the relevant authorities at MAHATRANSCO because the Supreme Court had already ordered reservations for trans people. However, she moved the high court as she got no response from the power company.

She asked the authorities concerned to reserve trans people for the positions advertised by MAHATRANSCO and to suspend the recruitment process until the request is decided.

After hearing the initial submissions, the bench issued a notice to the company and the state government and ordered them to respond to the petition. HC has now posted the petition for a rehearing in July.

UK hotels, bed and breakfasts and holiday parks have seen a 20-30% increase in inquiries following mid-term travel chaos as families think twice before heading abroad stranger this summer.

Businesses said an increase in last-minute bookings provided a much-needed boost as sales plummeted after the boom in 2020 and 2021, thanks to the removal of restrictions on overseas travel.

The cost of living crisis has also dampened plans for family vacations this summer, with many bookings delayed due to concerns over money available to spend.

Kate Nicholls, chief executive of trade body UK Hospitality which represents thousands of accommodation providers, said bookings have generally been down over the past two years as overseas travel picks up.

But she said there had been an increase in inquiries for the late summer and October semester, particularly city breaks and rural and coastal areas, after airlines were forced to cancel flights.

“We don’t know if this was a direct response to the travel chaos and the difficulty of traveling overseas or the squeezing of the cost of living or people realizing how bad the UK is is good after the platinum jubilee,” she said, adding that as well as strong domestic bookings, international visitors are also returning.

Nicholls said the trend of last-minute bookings, seen in recent years due to Covid concerns, has continued, but businesses are being held back by staff shortages, with hoteliers closing rooms due to too few cleaners or kitchen staff to maintain them.

Paul Hardingham, managing director of holiday park operator Landal GreenParks UK, which has a range of sites across the UK including Cornwall, Scotland, the Peak District and Yorkshire, revealed a pattern similar. He said bookings were up 20% from pre-pandemic levels in June with strong demand for last-minute breaks, but overall summer bookings were currently down from last year.

“We expect high bookings for the summer with stays sold out at the last minute, with same day and next day bookings at an all time high this year. We have seen around 20% of all bookings for arrivals in the next seven days and almost 30% for the next 14 days,” he said.

Online camping site Pitch Up said its UK bookings were just over double what it had seen before the pandemic, with traditional sites doing better than glamping, which surged when destinations further afield -sea were prohibited.

Dan Yates, the founder, said: ‘The disruption to overseas travel has certainly helped push more holidaymakers to opt for a UK holiday this year as people value certainty and peace of mind. after the pandemic.

“The rising cost of living is also a major driver of the increase, with many opting for a camping or glamping trip close to home rather than an expensive flight abroad to help their household budget. stretch more.”

However, the group said bookings were down slightly from this time last year, when families had fewer vacation options.

Sally Mynard, co-owner of Alpine Park Cottages near Sidmouth in Devon, said the company saw a 7% increase in bookings over the half of the quarter following news of the airport chaos.

But she said: “We are still down from pre-Covid levels. We have had the worst start to the season in 10 years in terms of advance bookings which are down 20%.”

She said bookings for school holidays were particularly low as some families ran out of money and others used vouchers for overseas trips that had been delayed due to the pandemic.

“People leave it late and see the money they have,” she said. “Because of the price of gas, people are wondering how much it will cost to come here and if they can afford to do things when they get there.”

Motorhome rental group Indie Campers said 39% more Britons were booking one of its vehicles in the UK this year with a slight increase in the length of trip they were booking.

A spokesperson said: ‘We are already seeing a shift as people reflect on the potential chaos of the summer school holidays and book their family getaways in advance with peak demand in August.’

Visit Cornwall said businesses had a strong start to the year as they were able to trade between January and March for the first time in several years. However, May and June had been “sluggish”.

A spokesperson said bookings were at the same level as pre-pandemic levels, but down from the past two ‘stay boom years’ for late spring and summer and which some businesses had seen cancellations.

The constant Colorado floods and lows that rocked the province this spring ruined plans for thousands of Manitobans hoping for a camping getaway.

A provincial spokesperson told CTV News about 3,000 reservations have been impacted by campground closures this spring.

“More than 25 provincial parks have been impacted this spring by flooding or wet conditions due to the late onset of spring and consistent Colorado lows affecting the province for the past few months,” the provincial spokesperson said. to CTV News in an email.

They said camping depends on the weather, especially in Manitoba – a province they say is prone to significant weather events.

“While this year it is wet conditions, in recent years there have been site closures and cancellations due to wildfires. The province has also seen group site closures over the past two years due to the pandemic.

The province said that for those affected by the closures this year, some of the reservations have been refunded and some have been moved to another location.

Although some campsites remain closed, the province said there are still plenty of campsites available in Manitoba.

“If a preferred campsite is affected by a closure, the Parks Reservations Department can help move the reservation to another campground,” the spokesperson said.

Athletic reported this morning that Arsenal’s coaching staff have reservations about Gianluca Scamacca, with Newcastle United and West Ham United monitoring the Sassuolo striker’s situation.

The report claims that Arsenal are interested in Scamacca, who are ready to leave Italy and join the Premier League in the summer transfer window.

However, the report added that “the Arsenal coaching staff would have reservations about a player who is stylistically very different from his primary target.”

Athletic have claimed Paris Saint-Germain have already held ‘exploratory talks with Sassuolo’ over the 23-year-old striker, with Newcastle and West Ham equally keen.

This report in The Athletic comes just days after 90 Minutes claimed Arsenal technical director Edu had been impressed with the Italy international striker and wanted him at the Emirates Stadium.

The Italian striker is said to cost £35m in transfer fees this summer.

Should Arsenal try Gianluca Scamacca?

In our opinion, Arsenal should continue to monitor Gianluca Scamacca’s situation and shouldn’t hesitate to make a bid for the Sassuolo striker.

Now we know Arsenal need to sign at least one top striker this summer, possibly two.

Scamacca is not one of the ‘elite’ strikers, but he has developed over the past two years and is also an Italy international.

There is potential in the youngster to improve.

Now Scamacca may not be ideal for the way Arsenal play, but a team always evolves, and so do the players.

The Italy international scored 16 goals in 25 Serie A starts last season.

Scamacca has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 13 league starts while on loan at Genoa in 2020-21.

AVitaly Smilianets, CEO of wery Aviation Software (Awery) told delegates thate CNS Partnership Conference 2022 that fixed rate booking would not return in the short term

The fundamental shift in the COVID-accelerated air cargo booking process is here to stay due to the adoption of digitalization.

“A side effect of the COVID pandemic has been a fundamental shift from long-term contract fares to one-time booking as capacity dwindles and demand increases,” Smilianets said.

“At the same time, the adoption of digitization by airlines has introduced huge efficiencies, making pricing faster and more responsive.

“For this reason, we anticipate that even if air cargo capacity increases, whether through increased passenger flights or investment in freighters, airlines will not return to fixed fares.”

Awery’s suite of services includes CargoBooking, which automates booking processes and provides instant quotes.

It converts incoming email quote requests into instant quotes and its quote management system provides published rates, contract rates and allowances, as well as spot or promotional rates.

“The change started because of COVID, but the change is here to stay because of technology,” Smilianets said.

“Airlines have done a fantastic job adapting to new processes, embracing digitalization to adapt to the changing business landscape.

“By embracing digitalization, the industry is building business resilience and future-proofing for the next challenge.”

Smilianets was speaking at the CNS Partnership Conference 2022, attended by a record 750 delegates from around the world.

Maruti Suzuki is expected to introduce a new generation of its popular Vitara Brezza SUV in India soon. Ahead of its launch in India, the SUV was spotted in several locations. Recently, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was spotted during a publicity shoot. Even though official launch dates remain unknown, some dealerships have started taking unofficial reservations for the vehicle.

According to sources, some dealerships take a token amount of Rs 11,000 to make a reservation for the upcoming car. The next generation Vitara Brezza receives a refreshed design all around. According to spy photos, the new Brezza gets a new chrome grille as well as slimmer all-LED headlights than the current generation model. The car’s bumpers also undergo a design change.

The new Maruti Brezza does not get any visible changes to its sides. However, the alloy wheels of the car receive a modification. The new wheel design gives an aggressive look to the SUV. As for the interior of the SUV, the new Brezza could have a sunroof among the features.

The model will get an updated 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 104 hp and 138 Nm of torque. There will be a new 6-speed automatic gearbox along with the standard 5-speed manual unit. Reports have also suggested that the automaker may remove the SHVS mild-hybrid system from the powertrain and introduce a CNG version.

In terms of price, the new Maruti Brezza is expected to cost more than the current generation of the SUV. In India, the Maruti Brezza competes with brands like Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, etc.

Earlier this month, Maruti Suzuki announced that it would soon be discontinuing its popular van-Eeco in India. The Maruti Suzuki Eeco has had good sales since its introduction in the Indian market. However, the manufacturer is ready to abandon Eeco and reintroduce it with a newer model towards the end of this year (2022). For those who are not known, the Maruti Eeco was launched in India in 2010 as the successor to the Omni van.

EV6 is the first all-electric model to be based on Kia’s Global Electric Modular Platform (E-GMP).

Kia India introduced the new EV6 premium electric crossover in India on Thursday at 59.95 lakh (old showroom). The company has now announced that pre-launch bookings for its new electric vehicle have hit the 355 unit mark. And the company plans to start the deliveries of the same by September this year. The new EV6 has been introduced in India in two variants – GT RWD and AWD. It is Kia’s first all-electric model based on its Global Electric Modular Platform (E-GMP). Interestingly, the company has also announced that the EV6 will be available in limited numbers in India. Introduced as a CBU model, only 100 units will be available to customers in the initial batch.

(See also: More photos of the Kia EV6 electric vehicle)

The new EV6 joins the league of other Kia India models such as Seltos, Sonet, Carnival and the previously launched Carens. However, the EV6 remains the most expensive Kia model one can buy in India.

Presented in two variants, the new Kia EV6 is available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive versions. While the two models promise different performance, the 77.4 kWh battery at the core remains the same. The EV6 was offered with a WLTP (European standard) certified range of over 500 km, however, the company claims that this range can go even further.

The company also plans to implement 150 kW DC fast chargers in 15 of its dealerships. Thanks to this, the EV6 will be able to recharge from 10% to 80% in about 40 minutes.

The company has communicated in the past that with the EV6 it was aiming to establish a base for electric mobility in India and not really focusing on increasing the numbers.
